2015 was the year of Greek-Russian friendship and a barrage of exhibitions including Greek and Russian artists took place in the two countries. Thessaloniki and kaluga (Moscow) were two of the main cities that hosted these exhibitions. Roumelight participates with the 2Headed Eagles-4B installation, inspired from the Byzantine Empire. This constists of three colorful acrylic glass layers, -gold black and scarlet- as met in the symbols of Byzantium.

On Monday March 7th, a scientific soiree named “Relations between Russia & Mount Athos” accompanied by a painting exhibition entitled “Greek Cultural Monuments” was presented in the foyer of the hall “Alexander”. Interesting speeches from acclaimed professors, a wonderful choir concert, and a number of paintings composed the recipe of a unique night. The event was organized by the Cultural Center of Central Macedonia’s Region, the “Russkiy Mir” Foundation’s Russian Centre of Thessaloniki, the Association of European Idea’s Friends (S.F.E.I) and the Digital Annex of St. Petersburg’s State Russian Museum, under the auspices of Ministry of Macedonia & Thrace, the Metropolis of Thessaloniki and the Consulate of Russian Federation. The last exhibition was held in Kaluga in the presence of the Patriach of Moscow and All Russia.
