Roumelight offers innovative, atmospheric lighting based on architectural minimalism, industrial design and thematic symbolism, among other influences. These lighting projects are unique , limited production or custom, adapted to the collector’s subtle preferences and meeting the space’s imperative requirements.

The installations are mainly hand made of metal, wood or acrylic glass with energy efficient lamps , giving a special character to environments such as boutique hotels, stylish offices, luxury apartments and non ordinary bars and restaurants: Conceptual works that exist in the gray area between functional lighting, design and the higher plane we call art.

Espresso cups suspended from a spiraling iron tube evoke the large springs along a truck’s shock absorbers, while the spoons dangling from the center add a playful touch.

The torso of a woman features illuminated breasts -- the ultimate symbol of femininity -- and a head that doubles as the planet Saturn.

The installation is named after what archeologists called the room (XL 101) in which they discovered the Bronze-age clay disk from the Minoan palace of Phaistos.

Illuminated renditions of the each side of the famous disk of Phaistos form the wheels of a racing bike. The handlebars double as the Minotaur’s horns while the ash-like color of the bike’s frame evokes charred archeological ruins.

The installation Five women dancing in a circle…use your imagination to conjure a story about how their stilettos ended up on your ceiling! The star in the center symbolizes the women’s potential. Each pair of shoes, painted with tar, stands on an industrial metal sheet finished in black nickel. The piece is suspended from metal chains, in keeping with the industrial theme.
