Light creates a visual expression of the poem “Smithereens” by a contemporary Greek poet. Engraved on plexiglass embedded into a window frame salvaged from a dilapidated old house, the text becomes illuminated when you turn on the light. The installation is dimmable and remote-controlled, making it the ideal decorative lighting. “Smithereens” was exhibited at the New York Design Center (Manhattan, May 2015) and donated to raise money for students…
