supparting students

An initiative of  Vasileios Roumeliotis embraced by a large group of creators and adopted by the Greek NGO Politeia Politismou. SuppArting students is a social project aiming to help underfed students who are unable to secure daily school lunches. The purpose of this program is to collect funds from the sale of artwork from more than 70 contributing artists from Greece and elsewhere, including professors from Fine Arts. The  artists donated a variety of artworks such as paintings, digital paintings, sculptures, light art, comics, collages,engravings, metal and wooden creations for a series of non profit  art exhibitions and evetns  in New York that started on May 2016 and keeps on…
The Greek Cultural Center, the Academy of Hellenic Paideia, the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York cooperate with the Hellenic Relief Foundation in this effort. All nets proceeds are managed by the Hellenic Relief Foundation and  are used to purchase school meals for 300 undernourished students in 25 primary schools of Thessaloniki.
